M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sushant Singh Rajput to play real life character of Indian Cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni known as (Mahi) in his upcoming movie, Title M.S Dhoni The Untold Story.

Good news is that his real life character will be played in Bollywood, and bad news is the fans of M.S Dhoni who are eagerly awaiting his biopic movie 'M.S. Dhoni: the Untold Story' will have to wait a little bit longer now. The makers of the movie 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' will not be able to release this week too. Featuring Sushant Singh Rajput starter 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' has been much delayed and now once again the project is said to have been delayed further with no specific date announced by the markers yet. The reason for such a delay is apparently said to have been of some financial concerns bothering the makers.

They want to earn much profits at the cost of their strong storylines and do not want to waste money in futile things. The makers want to put in a moderate amount of money and wish to recover it ' M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' is being directed by Neeraj Pandey.

M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story Reason behind Delay

It has been said that it is BCCI who is creating trouble for the makers of the movie. As per the reports in news, the studio on board is currently negotiating the budget with Dhoni, who is co-producing the film. The biopic of Indian skipper M.S. Dhoni will be in want of footages of cricket matches that would feature the skipper. This obviously requires the permission and support of the Board of control for Cricket in India (BCCI)'  which is apparently asking a huge sum amount of Rs. 15 crores to provide the same. The delay of the release of the movie 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' is due to the fact that the makers have refused to pay such a huge amount amount of Rs. 15 crores and the negotiations are still on.

Reportedly, the film's budget is of around Rs. 80 crores and Dhoni himself is said to have been made a huge contribution by paying around Rs. 40 crores to lend his life to the 70mm screen. The film, which stars Sushant Singh Rajput as M.S. Dhoni the protagonist, was supposed to roll last year. The script of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' was getting delayed as it was being reconsidered due to the recent developments in the M.S. Dhoni (Mahi) life, including his test retirement and the birth of his daughter. This made the makers revise their script and that further delayed the release of his biopic.
